About Us
Galaxy Cricket was formed by a bunch of Cricketers in 2000. Our
vision was to supply Cricket Goods from top suppliers at a fair
price, thus enabling us all to enjoy our game more. We are a trading
style of First Test Sports and are part of the Which? Webtrader
Scheme. We also supply clubs with a range of top quality customised
club wear such as Match Shirts, Cricket Sweaters, Tracksuits and
Shorts amongst many other items of leisurewear. We can manufacture
all items in club colours and personalise them in embroidery or
print. Full details of our range are available on request. We hope

How To Purchase Goods
We have made buying from Galaxy Cricket as simple as possible. Our
shopping basket will store items you have placed within it for up
to four hours. Each item for sale will have an order button. When
you press this button you are taken to the order-processing page
where the item will be automatically added to your basket. To view
items in the shopping basket and amend them accordingly simply click
on the 'show order' section.
You can input how many of each item you would like, decide to continue
shopping, remove an item from the basket or check out and place
your secure order. It is at this time you would be asked for your
name and address and then your credit card details if the shop has
online authorisation.
Accepted Payment
Paying online is simple. We accept all major credit cards including
Mastercard, Visa, American Express as well as Delta, Switch,
Solo and JCB debit cards. For more details see above. If you place
an offline order you will be contacted by one of our representatives
to arrange payment - this will usually be by cheque or postal order.

Is my transaction secure?
Every on-line transaction made within Galaxy Cricket is transmitted
across the Internet using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.
This industry standard method ensures that information sent from
your browser is scrambled whilst in transit and decoded when it
arrives on our server. You are far safer using your credit card
within Galaxy Cricket than you are in a restaurant in your local
high street. We take the issue of security very seriously and have
taken every step possible to protect you. Our servers sit behind
a state of the art hardware firewall.
What if I have problems ordering?
Common reasons for problems when pressing the order button are;
i) You are using an old browser that doesn't support SSL encryption.
ii) You are browsing from behind a corporate firewall that will
not allow secure connections. Speak to the system administrator
at your office. They will either rectify the problem or you will
have to order from another location. To check, point your browser
to https://www.microsoft.com/ if you cannot connect to the Microsoft
secure server it is likely that one of the above faults apply. If
you are able to connect to Microsoft please call our hotline number
and report the fault to us. We will assist you if we can.
When is my credit card debited?
Your card will not be debited until your order is ready for despatch.
This ensures that we only charge you for the goods you will receive
should you decide to either change your original or if we are only
able to send you part of the order. In the event of part orders
being shipped to you, we will only charge your card with the amount
relating to the goods sent. Once the balance of your order is ready
for despatch, we shall automatically debit the remaining balance
from your card. However, please note that we will not charge you
additional carriage. Card refunds will be made in the unlikely event
that you are dissatisfied with your purchase.
What happens if my card authorisation fails?
If the authorisation fails, the most likely explanation is that
you have input your card details incorrectly. We will receive your
order anyway and will contact you to verify your card details or
to arrange for alternative methods of payment.
What risks are involved in buying online?
All personal data, including your card number is transmitted over
secure connections, meaning that no one can 'eavesdrop' and capture
your details. You are also protected since all transactions are
carried out as 'Cardholder Not Present'. This means that any payments
will be refunded to your card should it be used fraudulently by
someone else or you do not receive what you ordered.
Stock Levels, Prices and Product Development
Our products are offered subject to availability and although we
carry large stocks all year round, we do run out of certain items
from time to time. If for any reason we cannot supply you with any
part of your order we will contact you via email or phone to advise
you.
Prices are subject to change without notice and include
VAT at 17½%.
Due to our policy of continual product development,
we reserve the right to change, modify and delete items and services
sold on this website without notice.
What if I do not receive my goods?
Please wait 28 days if you are in the UK or 35 days if you are overseas.
If you do not receive your goods after this period of time, please
contact us on info@galaxycricket.co.uk
with your order number to hand. This number will be included in
the e-mail you received when you ordered the goods from our shop.
We will strive to resolve the issue immediately.
What if my order is incorrect, incomplete
or goods have been damaged in transit?
If on receipt of your order you find that it is incorrect
in any way, incomplete or any of the items are damaged, you must
contact us within 48 hours of receiving the parcel. We will do our
best to identify the problem and take immediate remedial action
where necessary. Please note that if we have sent you the wrong
item(s), we will refund your return postage in full. Items sent
to you incorrectly, short of ordered quantities or replacements
for damaged items will be despatched to you free of carriage costs.
Returns Policy on all items except Cricket
Bats
We guarantee all of our products to be free of defects for 12 months.
If you receive a defective product, please email us at info@galaxycricket.co.uk
to arrange an exchange or refund. We aim to replace any defective
items with replacements. If this is not possible we shall refund
you immediately. Exchanged items will only be sent after we have
received the defective item back from you in its original packaging
at your own cost. Please consult our contact details for the return
address.
Returns Policy on Cricket Bats
At Galaxy Cricket we believe in simply supplying the
best quality bats at every price point. Unlike other internet companies
we have carefully selected only those bat manufacturers that we
believe will meet our strict criteria. All bats supplied by the
manufacturers are checked individually by our experts on delivery
to our distribution centre for quality of willow, pick up and balance,
overall finish and general performance. Any bats that do not meet
our high standards are rejected and returned to the manufacturer.
However, cricket bats are entirely made from natural products and
due to the unpredictable nature of the raw materials as well as
high impact nature of the game itself, even the best products can
fail occasionally. If your bat is damaged in any way beyond the
expected surface cracks or you are dissatisfied with it, contact
us at once and we will deal with your enquiry immediately. If the
bat is damaged you must stop using it as further use is likely to
worsen the problem and may affect the Warranty conditions. We will
normally ask you to return the bat to us for further inspection
by the relevant manufacturer. If the bat is within its warranty
period, the manufacturer, at their discretion will either repair
or sometimes replace it free of charge. The decision to repair or
replace is entirely the manufacturer's. It is final and no further
correspondence will be entered into.
No Quibble Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not happy with your purchase, simply return
the unused goods in their original packaging to us within 14 days
of delivery and we will happily replace the item(s) or refund your
money in full. We cannot however refund any carriage costs.

We will acknowledge all orders by e-mail.
Privacy Policy
We guarantee that we will not pass your details to any other company
without your permission. In such a case we would contact you by
phone or by email to gain your consent. Any personal data will not
be transferred out of the EEA. If you do not give us your consent,
all information received from you will be kept completely confidential
and will not be disclosed to any other party.
The terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as
a consumer.
